A ground-up residence in Redwood City’s Edgewood Park neighborhood, this project brought architectural design, engineering, and construction together under BG Design Build. We prepared the construction documents and, following plan approval, built the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home.

The finished spaces pair a welcoming covered porch and landscaped entry with a light-filled kitchen, generous living areas, and carefully detailed bathrooms. White cabinetry, warm wood flooring, and built-in storage carry a consistent material palette through the home.

  • Fiber internet and Cat 6 Ethernet wiring throughout, with ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi access points and a central network cabinet for organized home connectivity.

  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) infrastructure for compatible cameras and access points, carrying power and data through a single cable.

  • Integrated speakers, security cameras, and a security alarm system for entertainment and everyday peace of mind.

  • Smart lighting and climate controls for convenient control of lighting and temperature, plus an installed EV charger.

  • Sound insulation for quieter interiors, home-office calls, and more comfortable everyday living.

These low-voltage, networking, and comfort features were considered alongside the architecture and finishes, connecting the craftsmanship you see with the infrastructure behind the walls.
