Contemporary San Mateo Remodel
San Mateo · Complete home renovation · 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
BG Design Build completely remodeled this four-bedroom, three-bathroom San Mateo residence, coordinating architectural design, engineering, and construction. Our work included the construction documents, new plumbing and electrical systems, and finishes throughout the home.
The finished interiors bring together contemporary kitchen and bathroom details, warm wood accents, and a distinctive recessed dining-room ceiling. A consistent approach to surfaces and lighting connects the rooms while allowing individual spaces to have their own character.
Connected living, built into the remodel
Integrated speakers, hardwired Ethernet connectivity, and prewiring for security cameras add everyday function to the contemporary interiors. This low-voltage infrastructure supports a connected home, with wired networking for home-office use and streaming, audio for entertaining, and preparation for future camera installation.
Thoughtful technology planning is part of a complete renovation: considering the wiring behind the walls alongside the finishes, lighting, and spaces you enjoy every day.
