Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 11, 2026

About this policy

This policy explains how BG Design Build handles personal information when you visit bgdesignbuild.com or contact us about design, engineering and construction services through our website, Facebook or Instagram lead forms, email or telephone.

Information you provide

We collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, telephone number, project type, project city, desired timing and message. You may also provide a property address, budget, plans, photographs or other project details. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account credentials or other sensitive information through an inquiry form.

How we use project inquiries

We use your inquiry to contact you, discuss your project, arrange an introductory call, assess the services you need and help you get started. We may keep related correspondence and project records. We do not enroll inquiry contacts in unrelated promotional email or text campaigns, sell project-inquiry contact information, or provide it to other companies for their own marketing. Website analytics and advertising technologies are described separately below.

Who receives your inquiry

Project inquiries are handled through BG Design Build’s business email, including info@bgdesignbuild.com and bahman@bgdesignbuild.com. Squarespace, Meta and our email service providers process information as needed to host forms, deliver inquiries and maintain the services we use. Information may also remain in the form provider’s systems. When you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta processes your submission and provides the information to us. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to its services. We may disclose information at your direction, to comply with applicable law, or to protect legal rights.

Website information and cookies

Our website is hosted by Squarespace and uses Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics. The site also includes Google Ads tags and Google Tag Manager. These services may collect device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions and cookie or similar identifiers to operate the site, understand visits and measure advertising. Google advertising technology may associate website activity with activity on other websites or services. The site also loads Google-hosted fonts and other resources. These providers receive technical connection information when their resources load.

Your tracking choices

You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings; some site features may be affected. Google provides privacy and advertising controls through its privacy settings and My Ad Center, and an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our site is not currently configured to automatically change its collection practices in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party services may have their own responses to browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control. Contact us if you want to ask about or exercise a privacy choice; we will respond as required by applicable law.

Your information requests

You can ask us about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop following up about your project. Email info@bgdesignbuild.com or call 650.678.0234. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the request. We may retain information needed for an ongoing project, legal obligations, dispute resolution or other permitted recordkeeping. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right available under applicable law.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information and correspondence for as long as reasonably needed for the project discussion, any resulting project, and applicable business or legal recordkeeping. Relevant factors include whether the inquiry or project remains active and whether records are needed for contractual, tax or dispute-related purposes. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information through an ordinary inquiry form or email.

Children

Our services and inquiry forms are directed to adults planning construction projects, not to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.

Changes and contact

We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date. We will provide any additional notice of material changes required by applicable law. For privacy questions, contact BG Design Build at info@bgdesignbuild.com or 650.678.0234.
